Devi Sivasamy has always been drawn to how garments are made: the rhythm of a hand-drawn aari line, the weight of a zari border, the precision of a well-cut seam. That curiosity became the foundation of Purl & Piqué.
Her work moves between worlds, from bridal embroidery and painted silks to tulle gowns and draped fusion wear, always led by texture and handwork.
Every piece is designed and finished in the studio with skilled hands, so quality always comes before quantity.

Why Purl & Piqué?
Purl is one of the two foundational stitches in knitting. It stands for the handmade, the patient and the tactile.
Piqué (pee-KAY) is a woven fabric known for its raised, textured surface, a cornerstone of refined dressing.
